The new Deerwood Park, a 35-acre, state-of-the-art sports and recreation complex opened in 2007. Maybe you prefer canoeing, boating or fishing on a network of lakes including one of Florida’s largest and most famous, Lake Tohopekalegia. Home to the Nature Conservancy’s 12,000-acre Disney Wilderness Preserve, a number of multi-purpose sports and recreation complexes, and a YMCA, and a 200-acre Environmental Study Center.
